How to play · Controls and stopping

Signals: green circle: clear track; yellow exclamation mark: prepare to brake; red square: brake; hourglass: wait for passengers; green tick: ready to depart. A pause symbol appears while paused. Every signal also has a text label.

Start the train and set the target speed with the slider or − / + buttons. You can also use the arrow keys. F or Brake sets the target speed to zero; the train slows gradually.

Stop completely in the green stopping zone (within 7 metres of the station centre) and wait 2 seconds for +100 points. Passing through slowly earns no points. Brake signals help, but you drive the train. Pause also stops the clock.

You start with three passengers. At a stop, arriving passengers get off before waiting passengers board. The passenger count follows these changes. Leaving early interrupts boarding; passengers who have already moved stay where they are.

Speed and distance use real-time units. The first station is 100 metres away; later stations are 130–200 metres apart. New run resets your score; only your target speed setting is saved.

Reverse: return to the most recently missed stop. Stop completely, press Reverse, then set a speed up to 10 km/h. Distance and brake signals now refer to the track behind you. The train stops automatically at the far edge of the zone so you cannot reverse to earlier stations. After passengers have boarded, press Forward and set your speed. Changing direction always resets the target speed to zero.
